Current guidelines for rent increases for RENEWAL leases between October 1, 2010 and September 30, 2011 in Rent Stabilized Apartments are 2 1/4% for one year leases and 4 1/2% for two year leases.
Vacancy allowances are 17.75% and 20% for a one or two year lease. This vacancy allowance is based on the last legal regulated rent in effect for the apartment. The sublet allowance is still 10%.
